Needs more prius for being in Boulder.
I’m pretty sure that’s Whole Foods in the background though.... excellent sighting!

Does Colorado get more snow than neighboring Midwest states to warrant all the Subarus? Because I hardly ever see Subarus in Nebraska. Unless I go to Omaha.

I honestly only learned what GMOs are last week in one of my classes. Guess I wouldn’t fit in very well in Boulder. Any new developments about that Exocet project of yours?

Non-GMO. Basically they’re against genetically modified food.

I was hoping it was a name. Like Dr. Nongmo. Or Nongmo Tran.

85% of that flex fuel is ethanol. 80% of ethanol in the US comes from corn. Upwards of 90% of corn in the US has had some form of genetic modification.
That means that, outside of the 20% of ethanol produced from other biomass (which isn’t necessarily GMO free), this person thinks the corn used to make their ethanol comes from the <10% of corn which is not GM in some way. That is a hilarious conjecture on the economics alone. To be truly GMO free, that must be some locally-sourced artisanal E85, or else this uppity fucker has no clue. I suspect it’s the latter.
Signed,
Someone who likes living in the age of modern agriculture.
(edit: Yea, I know they probably weren’t talking about the fuel, but I wanted an excuse to post numbers.)
